RHOBH’s Bozoma Has Myomectomy

January 20,2025

As reported by Bravo, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Bozoma “Boz” Saint John recently had a myomectomy procedure to remove multiple uterine fibroids, including one the size of a grapefruit. Fibroids are non-cancerous tumors in the uterus that can lead to a range of symptoms, from heavy bleeding and pelvic pain to challenges with fertility.

During season 14 of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Saint John opened up about her decision to have the surgery, revealing it was motivated by health concerns and her desire to expand her family with her boyfriend, Keely Watson.

“I’m 47 years old, but I want to have a chance to carry a child,” Saint John shared in a confessional. “I want to start a family with [Keely].”

Saint John explained that while her fibroids were not immediately life-threatening, she felt it was necessary to address them proactively. She expressed concerns about the potential impact of fibroids on her fertility, acknowledging that the growths could significantly decrease her chances of conceiving.

Fibroids can affect fertility, but early intervention can increase the likelihood of a successful pregnancy. Saint John’s story emphasizes the value of prioritizing health and seeking timely treatment for conditions like fibroids. Taking steps to manage fibroids supports overall well-being while also helping preserve and protect fertility.
